| Can
I receive a scholarship for Community Service? |
| Currently,
the University offers two scholarships to students who
have demonstrated outstanding service contributions in
their community. The Xavier and Ignatian programs are
extensive service and developmental scholarships that
best reflect the University's mission of developing better
"men and women for others." Each scholarship
recipient completes 40 hours of service work a semester
at a chosen site within the city. Scholarship participants
also attend at least one service retreat each year and
are afforded the opportunity to participate on a CLCS
sponsored Spring break trip. To obtain more information
