WHAT:

Volunteers are needed for the Friends for Life Dinner and Auction Fund Raiser. A variety of help is needed, from set-up, food and drink service, etc.

WHAT:

Female Volunteers are needed for the Girl's Inc Pajama Party. Able to participate with girls ages 4-16 while they play board games, have a spa day(paint nails), make brownies and rice krispie treats, dance and sing to Karaoke or manage the movie room.

WHAT:

Volunteers are needed to help with Mother's Night Out. Help is needed to play with the children at the Magic House while the mothers are out, providing them with a much-needed break.

StudioSTL an organization that empowers area youth, ages 6 to 18, by helping them discover, develop, and celebrate their individual voices through writing. 

WHAT:

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Punctuate, a hilarious cocktail party fundraiser complete with punctuation-mark themed drinks and a hairdo contest. Help is needed as bartenders, as well as to setup and take-down event.

WHO: Gateway Greening, providing urban beautification and environmental assistance to the St. Louis community.
WHAT: Volunteers are needed to work with our City Seeds Urban Farm. The farm provides jobs training and horticultural therapy to chronically homeless St. Patrick Center clients, many of whom suffer from dual diagnosis mental illness and substance abuse addiction.

WHAT:

Volunteers are needed to help with the annual Halloween Party for the children. Assistance is needed with games and activities such as face-painting, cookie decorating, hot potato, dancing, serving food and drinks, etc.

WHO: EnergyCare, an agency that provides energy-related services for low-income families with elderly, disabled, chronically ill and young children to enable a healthier and safer environment in their homes.
WHAT: Volunteers are needed for weatherization weekends of low-income homes. Students will work with staff members to help weatherize people's homes to cut down on energy costs this winter.

Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN) St. Louis

WHAT:

Volunteers are needed to provide one-to-one sports coaching for children and teens with developmental and physical disabilities. No previous experience required; we provide training the first time you attend.

WHEN:

Session dates vary, but are always on Sunday afternoons from 1:45 – 4:15 pm. New coach orientation is from 1-1:45 and is offered before every session. See our website at www.keenstlouis.org for session dates. We have a really flexible volunteer policy - no regular or minimum commitment is necessary. Coaches simply attend sessions as their schedule allows.
