Jesuit Volunteer Corps

Here at Saint Louis Unversity, we strive to make each and every student live out our mission of being "men and women for others" while they are here. But what about when you leave this campus? Have you ever thought about taking a year off after graduation to serve others in need across our country and the world?

The Jesuit Volunteer Corps allows to do just that! Here are just some of the many wonderful aspects of the program to consider...

- Spend a year (or two!) in any part of the U.S., or around the world
- Room, board, health insurance and a monthly stipend provided

- Be in community with other JVC Volunteers from all over the country living the four cornerstones of simplicity, community, spirituality, and social justice
- Experience a variety of retreats offered to JVC volunteers throughout the year

Still not convinced? Well, how about knowing that you will be making a difference in the lives of the homeless, the elderly, at-risk youth, abused women and children, or people with AIDS? Not to mention memories that will last a lifetime...

For more information on the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and how to apply, contact Nicole Vesters, JVC Recruiter, at (410) 244-1733, or centralrecruiter@jesuitvolunteers.org. Also, visit the JVC website by clicking here.
