Mission Statement/Objectives:

The mission of Vision for Children at Risk (VCR) is to promote the well-being of children and youth in the St. Louis metropolitan area, targeting particularly those young people who face serious socio-economic risk. The goal of VCR is to ensure that the St. Louis community makes more effective, systematic provision for meeting the fundamental needs of all area children.

Service Opportunities:

Research Assistant – Policy Analysis. Volunteer develops and updates written reports and web content for our website , on topics concerning St. Louis child and family wellbeing. Writing skills , attention to detail necessary.
Research Assistant – Data Collection & Analysis. Volunteer assists with data collection for our data book , published every two years. Basic-to-intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel required.
Research Assistant – Community Asset Data. Volunteer assists with data entry , and data analysis , and categorization of data in a database of community agencies that serve children/families. Basic to intermediate experience with Microsoft Access required.

Days and times are very flexible - up to volunteer.
