Mission Statement/Objectives:

Our mission is to promote successful aging through a three-fold approach: lifelong learning, healthy living and social engagement. Founded in 1982 and based in St. Louis, the non-profit organization is now active in 40 cities across 24 states and serves more than 35,000 individuals each year.

Service Opportunities:

  • CATCH Healthy Habits Team Member – Volunteers work in teams of 5 or 6 and meet with children and together, learn health tips, eat healthy snacks, and be active through FUN, LIGHT exercise like playing with beach balls. Curriculum and all supplies are provided. Substitutes also welcome if volunteer cannot commit on an ongoing basis.
  • Evaluator - Evaluators are needed to attend three sessions at each CATCH location to watch and record the activities of the children and adults. Training will be provided on how to use the required MP3 player to document what you see. CAN BE A ONE TIME OPPORTUNITY.
  • CATCH Healthy Habits Team Member – Mondays-Fridays, 3pm-6pm.
  • Evaluator - Mondays-Fridays, 3pm-6pm.
