Mission Statement/Objectives:

The Center for Hearing & Speech improves the quality of life for individuals with hearing and speech disorders by providing caring and high quality services to individuals regardless of their ability to pay.

Service Opportunities:

• Audiology Volunteer: Check in donated hearing aids, drop off packages, make phone calls for hearing aid pick-ups, sanitize hearing booths, client filing.
• Community Outreach Volunteer: Greet clients at special events, work booths at fairs, help prepare and disseminate mailings
• Speech/Language Dept. Volunteer: Put together activities for therapy sessions, copy materials, create handouts, etc.
• Clinic Secretary Aid: Support clinic secretary, organize charts, help with client check-in, make appointment reminder calls.
• Industrial Assistant Volunteer: Assist at various fairs and clinics, helping with equipment, conducting hearing tests, distributing information, etc.
• School Screening Dept. Aid: Assist with hearing screenings in schools.

• Audiology Volunteer: Mondays-Fridays, anytime 9am-4:30pm
• Community Outreach Volunteer: Varies - very flexible
• Speech/Language Dept. Volunteer: Mondays-Fridays, anytime 9am-4:30pm
• Clinic Secretary Aid: Mondays-Fridays, anytime 8:30am-4:30pm
• Industrial Assistant Volunteer: Varies - flexible, with weekends.
• School Screening Dept. Aid: Mondays-Fridays, anytime 9am-5pm
