Mission Statement/Objectives:

To provide comfort and compassion to patients with a terminal illness that has decided no longer to seek treatment and have less than 6 months to live. To help these people die with dignity.

Service Opportunities:

• Caregiver Relief Visits: Be with patients at their homes or visit them in nursing homes for companionship and caregiver relief. Need car.
• Craft Volunteers: Help sew/crochet blankets, and make handmade cards for patients. Also, help needed delivering blankets and cards. No car needed.
• Phone-Based Volunteers: Make calls to patients and families to provide support, bereavement, follow-up, etc. No car needed.
• Office Volunteer: Assist with clerical tasks, filing, mailing, etc. Need car.

• All positions can be done any day of the week, at any time. Office volunteers are needed Mondays - Fridays, 7:30am-6pm.
