The
newly formed Billiken Parents Advisory Council (BPAC),
a group comprised of no more than 30 SLU parent volunteers,
held its first meeting in July, 2005. The group serves
as the governing body of the Billiken Parents Association,
which is association that is open to all SLU parents. Join Now.
The
Council meets monthly in the Busch Student Center.
The
BPAC strives to establish and increase the communication
link between parents and SLU through active involvement
in order to enhance the parent and student experience
at SLU.
The
council currently participates in various SLU activities,
discuss and plan events geared toward igniting family
involvement and address other issues that are pertinent
to SLU parents. |
